Hello every one. I know we all love our Normans and this site is dedicated to this passion but it seems evident to me that many of us have other interests too. In this, I am no exception.
I will shortly be restoring a Berkeley SE328. This little racing car uses an Excelsior Talisman 328cc two stroke engine.
Does any one have any parts for this engine, I.e. carbs and manifolds etc or any thing else for the Berkeley?
It would be great to here from any one who could help?
All the best to you all and lets hope that jet stream moves towards Iceland for August and perhaps we will get some nice weather!

hi paul
i did some work on a berkley for a chap, he told me the engine,
excelsior 328 just needed a little tweaking to get running.
the chap bought the complete car from someone in the berkley club,
it was rather aparrent that the car was a jumble of worn out and
unservicable parts probaly from one or two donor cars.
the engine was scrap, cracked cases, odd pistons bits missing,
to get a replacement is almost impossible however a popular mod
especaily with the racers is to fit a mini engine complete with running gear
etc.
good luck
